FLAT MEASUREMENTS:

Each ready to wear garment listed on our site is measured “flat”. This means that if it’s something that fits around the circumference of your body the measurement provided must be doubled.

When measuring yourself at home you will divide your circumference measurements in half. Below is a basic guide to help you measure yourself to determine whether an item will fit properly.

If you do not own a soft measuring tape consider using a string and a ruler, or measuring your favorite clothing.

SHOULDER:

Measure from the top of one shoulder across the nape of your neck to the other.

Example: Shoulder 17”

CHEST:

Wrap measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest; dived number in half.

Example: Chest 38” around, 19” flat

WAIST:

Wrap measuring tape around the smallest portion of your torso; divide number in half.

Example: Waist 30” around, 15” flat

HIP:

Wrap measuring tape around the widest portion of your hips; divide number in half.

Example: Hips 36” around, 18” flat.

SLEEVE:

Measure from the top of your shoulder (outseam) or from the armpit (inseam) to the top of your wrist.
